KLOB-2005 is almost upon us and the September CROCK meeting providing some last minute tinkering time for what is the last summer?s flying date of the year. The days event was not exactly blessed by the weather but it didn?t rain and it wasn?t too windy so for rocketry, fairly reasonable.

CROCK Event Review
Reviewer: Gary MeakinMore rocketeers turned up for this months flying to take advantage of the last good weather. A warm welcome to the new rocketeers Howard and the PARS (Purley Amateur Rocketry Society) team who drove down and launched many rockets throughout the day. Malcolm and Michael launched lots of rockets including Malcolm?s boosted glider that glided smoothly back to terra firma. I was testing a new tracker that I wanted to use for a high performance flight at KLOB, so many thanks to all flyers that found some free space to launch this prototype. A run-down of some great flights include Richard?s LOC test flight, another great Stovi launch and pyramid rocket, Pete?s Rebel Rocketry Buccaneer and the PARS group who launched the most rockets of various classes.
