CROCK Event Review
Reviewer: Gary MeakinQuite a few rocketeers turned up to take advantage of the remaining summer season flying opportunities. It was also great to see Iain and Mark back for some CROCK flying and returning new members Anthony and Richard.

Lots of rockets were launched from low to high power classes in which Malcolm and Michael started the days flying. Iain had brought his new PML Ariel to test fly an AED RDAS with real-time telemetry, of which both flights were successful including the telemetry aspect. Mark launched his PML Nimbus on a Pro38 second test flight that had a great flight to apogee although there was a problem in recovery with some major damage to certain parts of the rocket. Anthony took advantage of the weather and made some A1 flights with his Viper4, there is not a scratch on this rocket after several flights, brilliant. Richard was very prepared for this meeting with various rockets to fly, his LOC Stovi launch was incredible as it kept boosting and coasting for ages.

All-in-all a great days flying was had by all. And to make it even better the local farmer returned two rockets that he recovered from the potato field that he recently farmed. My lost LOC Starburst and a rocket of Michael?s were returned safely ? many thanks to the farmer. Gary Meakin
