CROCK Event Report Introduction
WEATHER SUMMARY
Wind Speed 5-17 mph
Wind Direction North East
Temperature 28C
Summary Hot
At last the British summer weather is here and landed on a day we have our monthly CROCK meeting, this is usually unheard of. My aim of the days launch was to actually get in some rocket flights and have some fun and enjoy the days flying ? therefore I packed a few low power rockets so that I can fly some Estes motors. Apart from a F3 wind forecast (as standard) it should be a great day for rockets.

CROCK Event Review
Reviewer: Gary MeakinOn arriving at the launch site it was clear it was going to be a great days flying. Lots of rocketeers had arrived to enjoy the days events and take advantage of the hot weather. It was also great to see some new rocketeers joining us and a very warm welcome to Anthony, Andrew and Richard all of which launched some great rockets.
Various rockets from low-power A-class up to high-power J-class were flown. Anthony?s LOC Vyper4 was really well built with not a scratch on it considering it has flown before, and launched a few more times on 4xEstes D motors. Pete Williams had modified his Rebel Rocketry Buccaneer to carry an onboard digital video camera, unfortunately both flights caused the video camera to loose power during boost but great flights. Plus loads more rocket flights ? see photos. Gary Meakin
