NEXT MEETING Date to be announced shortly. Watch this space. [more info] CROCK VENDOR CROCK LINKS		The Canterbury Rockets (CROCK) club was founded by Tony Betts in 1997. The club allowed rocketeers from Kent and around the South(east) to gather together and fly rockets throughout the year at our monthly meetings. Through the hard work of Rockets and Things, Tony Betts and Malcolm Jennings the club meetings are still an exciting event to this present day with local rocketeers from the Southeast and flyers from all over the UK. CROCK has had a few launch sites in its history. The original flying site was at Stalisfield near Charing that provided an excellent setting with lots of field space around for recovery. The current launch site Walland Marsh, on the Kent Marshes near Rye (East Sussex) provides approximately 400acres of turf land. The site is excellent for model rockets and high power rockets with boosting plenty of down-range recovery, check out the launch site page for more information. CROCK is not a membership club and we do not charge you a fee to fly, we welcome all rocketeers who wish to come and fly at our monthly meetings or even just spectate. Rocketeers must be insured by the BMFA and/or UKRA and its associated certification scheme for high power flights. If you have any questions please contact us.
